LOADING INSTRUCTIONS FOR NOOBS (ZEsarUX)
Zoggle for Cambridge Computer Z88 emulator(s)
=============================================

Inspired by a similar document by John Connolly for the 2020 CSSCGC - which
was to load a Z88 BASIC file from raw .TXT into the OZvm emulator. This has
now been adapted for those who wish to perform the same operation on
ZEsarUX, which has a Z88 mode and will also run this game. These instructions
have been compiled from comments by César Hernández Bañó (the author of ZEsarUX)
and Jamie Bradbury (author of this game and a Z88 aficionado).

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To create an EPROM image and copy Zoggle1.bbc to it using ZEsarUX v9.2:

1.	Copy the file "Zoggle1.bbc" into the main ZEsarUX folder (for best results
	- see step 13).
2.	Click on the ZEsarUX window. Select "Machine -> Cambridge Computers -> Z88".
3.	Click on the ZEsarUX window. Select "Storage -> Z88 Memory slots ->
Empty" (the THIRD of these - this is important! See step 11.)
4.	Click on "Memory type" until it shows "EPROM".
5.	Click on "Name", then "File: ..".
6.	Delete the dots and type "Zoggle1.eprom" and ENTER.
7.	Select "Yes" to create the file and "32 Kb", then "Apply changes". There
will be a couple of loud beeps and "FLAP" will appear in the status bar.
8.	Press ESC three times to get back to the emulator.
9.	Select "Filer" from the Z88 menu (or press ALT+F).
10.	Scroll down the menu and select "Create File Card".
11.	Enter "3" to select the third slot - this is (apparently) the only one
that can be formatted this way. Press ESC twice to get back to the Z88
	index.
12. Click on the ZEsarUX window. Select "Storage -> Z88 Memory slots ->
EPROM (the THIRD of these) -> Copy to Card".
13.	Locate the file "Zoggle1.bbc" (ZEsarUX's menu style means it is a lot easier
to do so if the file is located in the folder ZEsarUX is run from, and at
the very least, should be on the same drive.)
14.	Press ENTER when the "Target file name?" prompt appears. Press ESC three
	times to exit the menu.

For Windows users at least, the file "Zoggle1.eprom" *might* be located in the ZEsarUX directory - or it *might* will be located here (I've seen both):
C:\Users\(your_username)\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\ZEsarUX 9.2\

At this point the file "Zoggle1.eprom" can be copied and saved for future use,
and there will be no need to copy "Zoggle1.bbc" to it again.

These instructions are now the same as they were on OZvm, merely renumbered
and slightly embellished:

15.	Use the cursor keys within the Z88 (or press ALT+J) to navigate to the
FlashStore application. Press ENTER to open it. Once loaded, move the
flashing cursor to the card which you have just installed and press ENTER
	to inspect its contents.
16.	Once inside the card, 'Zoggle1.bbc' should be present in the directory.
Select it and press ENTER (making sure your cursor is in the directory
	view).
17.	You will be asked if you want to copy 'Zoggle1.bbc' to the Z88's internal
RAM (as 'RAM.0/Zoggle1.bbc'). Press ENTER to confirm.
18.	Now that the listing is in the Z88's RAM disk, press ESC until you return
to the application menu. Now, select BBC BASIC (or press ALT+B).
19.	Once inside BBC BASIC, type the following:
	LOAD ":RAM.0/ZOGGLE1.BBC"
20. To play the game, type 'RUN' and hit ENTER. Just like a Spectrum, or a ZX81,
or even... gasp!... a BBC Micro!
